Job description
Are you an experienced and qualified Primary Special Needs Teacher, having taught children with ASD/PMLD/SLDandComplex Needs? If so, this role could be for you.
Our client School based in Greenwich are looking for a full time SEN Teacher for a KS2 class.
This is a long term position starting ASAP.
You will be teaching students with a range of special needs and will have teaching assistants to support you.
In the School's latest Ofsted report in 2014 the School received a 'good' grade with 'outstanding' features and stated that the students make good progress in speaking and listening, as well as reading and writing.
You will need:
- A proven record of teaching SEND students with a range of needs
- Be able to prepare and teach effective lessons, taking into account the individual needs of the students
- Have effective methods of communication as some students are non-verbal
- Registered DBS or be prepared to carry out a new DBS application
