SEN Teacher - Mainstream Primary School SEN Hub
Location: Southwark, South East London
Pay: £180 - £230 a day
Start: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, term time only

Remedy Education are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher with QTS to join a supportive mainstream primary school in Southwark, working within the school's SEN Hub.

This role will involve supporting pupils in Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 who require additional support to access the curriculum. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering tailored learning and creating an inclusive environment where all pupils can thrive.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher within the SEN Hub, you will:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet a range of additional learning needs

  • Support pupils with SEN including ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties

  • Deliver small group and targeted interventions to support academic progress

  • Work closely with the SENCO, teaching assistants and class teachers to support pupils effectively

  • Monitor progress and adapt learning strategies to meet individual needs

  • Maintain strong behaviour management and create a structured, supportive learning environment

  • Support pupils with their social, emotional and academic development

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience working with SEN pupils in primary or specialist settings

  • Strong knowledge of differentiation and inclusive teaching strategies

  • Excellent behaviour management and communication skills

  • A patient, nurturing and proactive approach

  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team

Experience working within a mainstream school SEN hub or resource provision would be highly desirable.
