SEN ICT Teacher - Secondary School - Waltham Forest

A SEN school in the London borough of Waltham Forest are looking to recruit a SEN ICT Teacher for a September start 2021, on a permanent school contract basis.

The school provides full-time education for Secondary School pupils offering very small group and 1:1 personalised therapeutic education for the most complex and vulnerable pupils. The SEN school builds on the strengths, talent, and interests of each pupil, with a focus on developing pupil leadership, independence and social / group skills. The school then integrates these pupils back into education and society.

As a SEN ICT Teacher, you will be teaching pupils with complex needs that are a barrier to learning in a mainstream school or alternative provision, typically associated with SEMH, autism and associated conditions. This specialist provision offers regular weekly training for your role as a SEN ICT Teacher, and is perfect for an experienced SEN ICT Teacher looking for a new challenge in their career.

• Must have UK QTS
• Excellent subject knowledge including SEN You will need to have a proven track record of delivering high quality lessons passionate, positive & team player required
• Confident & strong classroom management skill
