  • Encourage positive behaviour, participation and pride in creative work.
  • Maintain a structured, calm and nurturing classroom environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people (e.g., schools, youth work, coaching, sports, arts).
  • A patient, adaptable and compassionate approach.
  • Strong communication and behaviour support skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting learners with additional needs.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience in a SEND, SEMH, autism or alternative provision setting.
  • Knowledge of working with neurodiverse learners in creative settings.
  • Background or interest in art, creative practice or arts facilitation.

Why Join?

  • Supportive team and collaborative working environment.
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a specialist educational setting.
  • Term-time working pattern with school holidays off.
  • Encouragement and support for professional development.
