Outstanding Secondary schools based in Greenwich, South East London, are looking for Teaching Assistants with SEND experience, to work within long-term basis.
Main duties include:
- Meeting the needs of children aged from 11 to 19 with high functioning autism and Asperger's, language and communication difficulties and specific learning difficulties.
- Attending weekly meetings with the SENDco to review the students emotional, social and academic needs of the students.
- Assisting and implementing interventions that focus on building independence, communication, and life-skills.
- To keep up to date with student's EHCP to ensure that their personal and academic targets are met.

- Will be experienced working with students with autism and additional SEND on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Will have an up-to-date DBS with update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS through Teaching Personnel.
