Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant qualification required (or equivalent)

Recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a Secondary school

Recent experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities on a one to one basis

The ability to work as part of a school team and add value in a Secondary department

Contribute to the wider school community and the wider working day through staff meetings and continuous professional development opportunities

You will work with the class teacher to develop the curriculum in order to meet individual needs of students and help them progress further. The Headteacher and SENCO of the schools we are working alongside are looking for a candidate who has prior experience of working with SEND children.
