My client is seeking a Caretaker in their school starting from the 1st of July on an ongoing temporary basis working 14:00-22:00

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Opening/Closing of school premises in line with daily requirements and at all other times.
• Ensuring Security of the premises, dealing with security incidents which could include: -
• Personal incidents to staff, students and/or college visitors
• Damage, theft and/or vandalism to school or personal property
• To advise line management and report writing following incidents and to Liaise, advise and give assistance to external bodies regarding any security incidents (i.e. the police).
• To carry out all routine maintenance and repairs on site including routine painting and decorating.
• To undertake small building repairs and maintenance
• To assist, when required, will all major and minor works projects.
• To undertake grounds maintenance work e.g., clearing litter, trimming hedges and removing weeds
