Our client, Rochdale Borough Council is looking for a Environmental Health Senior Officer to join their team.

They are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with the relevant qualification and experience of working in a regulatory environment with sound knowledge of the full range of Environmental Health legislation.

You will be expected to work in a busy team, delivering great customer service, have a flexible and resilient approach, sound judgement with the ability to provide advice and carry out enforcement action as required, as well as taking part in pro-active initiatives. The role will primarily be focusing on COVID-19 control in workplaces, business and the community and will involve both reactive and proactive interventions by working with partner agencies, businesses and the wider Public Protection Team at Rochdale Borough Council.

You will be working with a diverse range of enquiries and referrals and will also be involved in contact track and trace work in workplace settings and communities within our Borough. An ability to effectively manage and prioritise your own workload and adapt to evolving situations and emerging issues is essential.
