You will have overall team management responsibility for the Quality Assurance team in the Council.

The service is responsible for ensuring that children receive a safe and good quality service for those subject to child protection plans and children in care. The team also has a responsibility for the quality and audit of social work practice as a critical friend to assist with improvements in practice and service delivery. Additionally, the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) team oversee and co-ordinate the management of allegations made against professionals who work with children.

The team consists of 12 workers overall and this role will be offered on a rolling basis.
