Qualified Social Worker - Cheshire West and Chester - Supporting Independence Team - Up to £45ph!

  • We are looking for a skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our Supporting Independence Team based in Ellesmere Port.
  • The successful candidate will support care leavers aged 16-18, as they begin their transition to adulthood - assisting them to achieve their aspirations and access life opportunities that will enable them to have a stable and positive future.
  • The Supporting Independence Team works across the local authority area including Ellesmere Port, Chester, Winsford, Northwich and surrounding areas. Candidates MUST be prepared to work in and around this area. The main office base is Ellesmere Port but also working from home during the pandemic.
  • WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING CVs FROM NEWLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES.
  • The Supporting Independence Team is bustling and busy; a supportive environment with easy availability and access to support and guidance from the Team Manager and the team as a whole. We have established supportive relationships and positive links with other locality teams and with our partner agencies.
  • We offer quality and regular supervision and candidates will have the opportunity to participate in 'in house' training opportunities to support their Continued Professional Development in line with Social Work England requirements.
  • Candidates will be provided with up to date and effective IT equipment and accessories in addition to smart phones to assist and support remote and home working.
