Qualified Social Worker - Northamptonshire Childrens Trust - Safeguarding Team - Up to £36ph!

As a safeguarding social worker at NCT, the candidate will work with children on child protection plans, child in need plans, and public law/care proceedings. These social workers work very closely with other agencies, and use a contextualised safeguarding approach to their work.

There are 14 safeguarding teams, across Northamptonshire, each team consists of a Team Manager, Advanced Practitioner, who holds complex cases and supports 5 or 6 Senior Social Workers/Social Workers and a Newly Qualified Social Worker within their team. All working to solve child related issues across the county in creative, effective and safe ways.

Staff are supported by not only business support and admin staff, but also advanced practitioners and experienced managers, that are dedicated to supporting staff with complex cases.

The ideal candidate will have great working experience in a safeguarding environment, plenty of knowledge related to child protection laws. Successful candidates have been found from CIC, LAC and EDT backgrounds.
