Job description

X3 Qualified Social Workers, North Complex Team, Westminster, rate negotiable depending on experience

If you are an experienced Qualified Social Worker with a background in a North Complex Team, we want to hear from you.

Main duties include:

  • To respect the independence, dignity and privacy of individual and their carers and to establish relationships that promote trust and confidence
  • To conduct holistic assessments using relevant tools, treating each person as an individual and respecting their views and wishes
  • To give individuals clear information about their rights and responsibilities and to work with them to agree a support plan with measurable outcomes that maximises their independence
  • To assist individuals to complete a self assessment and to make an informed choice about the services they require building on the individual's strengths and abilities to maximise independence and promote well being
  • To arrange assessments of service users' finances

Essential requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • ASYE complete
  • Substantial experience within a Complex Team
