Qualified Social Worker, Mental Health Team, North West London, from £28ph

If you are an experienced Qualified Social Worker with a background in Mental Health Team, we want to hear from you.

Main duties include:

  • Assessing mental health needs and provide care coordination under Care Programme Approach
  • Providing a range of evidence-based health and social care interventions for people experiencing a psychotic illness.
  • Developing and maintain therapeutic relationships with service users, recognising the service users' needs and strengths.
  • Involving service users and carers in both planning and evaluating intervention.
  • Responding sensitively and dynamically to service users' changing needs
  • Supporting service users to enhance their community participation by assisting them to access community and social care resources.
  • Providing appropriate support to people in crisis and reduce the need for hospital admission.

Essential requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • ASYE complete
  • Substantial experience within a mental health team
