Remedy Recruitment Group are looking for a Qualified Social Worker for a Looked After Children Team for a Local Authority in East London.

Job Purpose

The social worker will work with service users aged from several months to eighteen years. They may be Section 20 or subject to Care Orders. The worker will implement care plans to ensure that young people looked after in Newham do not drift in care. The work will include placing children for adoption& long term fostering, working with vulnerable & troubled children. The Service area has a number of important Performance Indicators. The worker will need as good standard of verbal & written communication. They will undertake placement visits, LAC reviews, meetings, court & panels. The social worker needs to be organised so that they can plan their work to ensure all visits are up to date & that care plans, Pep's & Pathway Plans are implemented in a timely way.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered
