Remedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker to work within an Adults with Learning Disabilities Team for a Local Authority based in North London.

Job Purpose

• To provide a high standard of social work to users arising out of the Councils duties and powers under legislation and in accordance with divisional and area policy, procedures, guidelines and the Code of Practice for Social Care Workers
• Undertake the more complex assessments, packages of care and long term support for people who are eligible for services, that require a professional/specialist input
• To ensure that all any concerns regarding abuse of vulnerable adults with learning disabilities are reported promptly to the Team Manager, Principal Practitioner, or Senior Social Worker, and that Safeguarding Policies and Procedures are followed at all times

You will need to be:

HCPC registered

Eligible to work in the UK
