Psychology Graduate for Autism and Mental Health in Greenwich - Education and Training - ASAP Start

This Learning Support Worker role is aimed at an enthusiastic, empathetic graduate who wants to initiate restorative practices. The school has not had a permanent exclusion for over 12 months, and is committed to ensure no student is left behind both pastorally and academically. The role is based within a Complex Needs Environment. Many of the students will have been through severe traumas and there will be a mix of good and non-existent relationships with their parents.

The role:

  • Psychology Graduate.
  • Learning Support Assistant.
  • Start date: ASAP.
  • Greenwich
  • Restorative practices.
  • Autism and Mental Health

Restorative Practice, pragmatism and positive reinforcement will be key skills in this support role in Greenwich. The role specialises in working with students who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues and Wellness concerns. The students you are raising attainment with are between the ages of 9-16, all have EHCPs and will need to continue their education once they leave the school.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent Psychology graduate to gain valuable experience with young people who have complex needs, and to experience first-hand providing restorative practices to vulnerable students.

This LSA role is ideal for an Aspiring Clinical Psychologist or similar, to gain valuable experience with providing restorative practice to students with complex needs.
