We are seeking an experienced and reliable private tutor to support students with GCSE English and Maths.

• Subjects: GCSE English and GCSE Maths
• Location: In-person tuition around Cheltenham
• Pay: £25 - £35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Hours: Flexible

The Ideal Tutor Will:

• Have experience teaching or tutoring GCSE English and Maths
• Be able to explain concepts clearly and adapt to the student's learning style
• Be patient, encouraging, and well-organised
• Hold relevant qualifications (teaching qualification preferred but not essential)
• Have an enhanced DBS check (or be willing to obtain one)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, structured lessons aligned with the GCSE curriculum
• Identify areas of weakness and tailor support accordingly
• Help build confidence, exam technique, and subject understanding
• Weekly report writing.
