Primary Teaching Assistant - Graduate Role
This lovely school based in East London is looking to appoint a high achieving and confident graduate to work in a 1:1 SEN role. This role involves working closely with a child who is on the autistic spectrum You will assist the child in transitioning throughout the day. You will also assist this child within academic lessons. You should therefore be comfortable with English, Maths and Science at KS1 and KS2. The child you work with will sometimes have the opportunity to visit the sensory rooms, so you must be an individual who is adaptable and able to use your own initiative.
To be successful in your application you must be:
* A graduate with a 2.1 or higher degree
* Psychology graduate or similarly related degree
* Previous child-based experience
* Knowledge of SEN / ASD
* Empathetic, compassionate, confident and motivated
* Have a desire to work in education
* Looking to build your experience before teacher training or further study
