To be considered for this Primary Teaching Assistant opportunity you must have the following:
1st or 2:1 degree with strong A-Levels preferably core subjects or psychology graduates
Passionate about education and supporting young people
Strong behaviour management with a patient and friendly nature
Gain some invaluable classroom whilst building on your prior knowledge and experience of working with primary aged children

This amazing primary school are seeking to appoint a graduate as a Teaching Assistant to support the learning of their pupils in school. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work with individuals or groups of children to support within the classroom and in small interventions.

There is a strong focus on ensuring that you are a patient and empathetic nature to ensure that children settle into school and become enthusiastic, confident learners. You will also need to hold a 2:1 or better in a core subject or Psychology. An understanding of child development would be beneficial but a willingness to enhance your knowledge of the national curriculum and school system is more important.

You will have to engage with children and be able to build strong relationships to ensure that the children you are working with are achieving their potential.
