A lovely, excelling school in Brixton are actively looking for a bright graduate, who has a degree in English, Psychology or Linguistics and their sights firmly set on training to become a Speech & Language Therapist. Your role will be to support 2 bright and bubbly students who need support with their speech needs.

The school SENCO and Head Teacher are looking to recruit a graduate who has the ability to communicate clearly and confidently, with a positive and enthusiastic approach. This specific SEN Teaching Assistant position would be ideal for an aspiring Speech Therapist, furnishing you with the experience, knowledge and understanding required for a successful application the following year.

JOB DETAILS:

This is a full-time role, 5 days a week from September 2018- July 2019. As a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be required to support pupils with varying degrees of speech, language and communication difficulties, working in class on a 1:1 and small group basis. Each child is very different in terms of ability, additional needs and background, which will require the successful applicant to be extremely versatile and understanding. Supporting pupils in this particular role, could prove to be challenging, however will be one of the most rewarding roles you will hold.

The school site is a 5-minute walk from Brixton station, accessed via the London Overground. You are able to access it via bus routes and the London Overground as well.
