If so, this SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity could be perfect for you!

A fantastic 2 Form Entry Primary School in the South East London Borough of Greenwich are currently seeking 2 SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team in September 2019!

The role will involve working with children with Special Educational Needs e.g Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia. You may be working on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to provide additional support to children who may be struggling in the classroom.

The Primary School has a friendly environment and is very inclusive. Pupils come from a variety of backgrounds and their work is displayed around the school to make them proud of their achievements!

Job Details

  • Primary SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Working on a 1:1 and group basis within KS1 or KS2
  • Running and helping with intervention groups
  • Working as part of a team of support staff and teachers
  • £70 - £85 per day plus a generous health care package
  • Long term role for the whole academic year
  • Full time - 5 days a week

Person Specification

  • Primary SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Must hold 2:1 or 1st class degree
  • Previous experience of working with SEN children ideal
  • Proactive and professional approach
  • Aspirations of becoming a future Primary Teacher / Psychologist
  • Hold a registered DBS or happy to apply for one
