The Role - PMLD Teaching Assistant

This PMLD Teaching Assistant role will consist of you providing 1:1 support to students that have PMLD and need wheelchair assistance. You will be responsible for providing academic support and wheelchair assistance to these students when they need it. This may be helping them out of the wheelchair or providing 1:1 sessions to help take them through their classwork. To become a successful candidate for this PMLD Teaching Assistant role, you must have experience working with pupils that have Physical Disabilities.

The School - PMLD Teaching Assistant

This SEN school takes children from Nursery to Year 14 with Vision impairment, Hearing impairment and multi-Sensory impairment. It is located in Croydon and can easily be located if you were to arrive via public transport. Around 200 pupils attend this SEN school and after its latest inspection in 2019, Ofsted awarded the school a 'good' rating.
