PMLD Learning Support Assistant - Camden North London

Remedy Education have an amazing position available for the right candidate at a lovely Special school in Camden. The job role is a full time position, Monday to Friday, from 9.00 - 3:30 paying a rate of £80-90 per day. This position has the opportunity becoming permanent to the right candidate.

It is a big school with amazing resources such as Hydro pool, sensory rooms and grounds for the children to play on.

Your position will be a Learning Support Assistant working 1-1 or in small groups with the children. Most of the pupil's have life limiting conditions, are non verbal and wheelchair users so you must have experience in manual handling and personal care. The use of Makaton or BSL is an advantage but not essential. We are also looking for someone that has at least 1 year's experience working with children with PMLD.

To be accepted for this role you do need experience working within a school before and a current DBS.
