Remedy Education are looking for a teaching assistant with Phonics experience.

Our lovely school based in Southwark/Lewisham are looking for a specialist Phonics teaching assistant to support our SEN students.

The School is located close in South East London close to a underground station and is easily accessible by local transport links running directly to and from the surrounding areas. They have very good professional development opportunities and a very supportive and experienced SENCO as well as close links to other schools in the surrounding area.

A key role and responsibility for the successful applicant will be too lead booster and intervention sessions in both literacy and numeracy within the class. These will need to be delivered to small groups, all the time helping to support the class teacher in whole class activities. This role will see you build and hone your skills as a future teacher, before embarking upon your teacher training.

Key points:

• Long term to permanent position
• Full time - Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30/4.00pm
• Based in South East London
• £80-90 a day
