This role is to have;
Overall Management of the Auto Enrolment process within LBS, RBK, LBM, Richmond Schools, AFC and other applicable bodies. Be responsible for the management and administration of complex automatic enrolment processes so as to comply with the Pensions Act 2008 and Regulations (2012) and implement Council policy, as appropriate. Including the upcoming Re-enrolment process due in April 2019.
Be the prime point of contact for dealing with related matters in conjunction with the Pensions Regulator and associated submissions relating to Re-enrolment.
Using the payroll system (iTrent) reporting to administer the automatic enrolment regulations and ensure all eligible job holders / non eligible job holders / and entitled workers are informed appropriately and in a timely way and are enrolled, on receipt of application where necessary, in the appropriate pensions scheme. Including using the process agreed with the payroll provider for uplifting staff / positions starting or leaving the pension scheme membership in the current pay period.
Be responsible for providing advice & guidance in relation to the administration of the Teachers Pension Scheme and LGPS. Some requirement to provide advice regarding other money purchase scheme.
No requirement for day to day line management of the Pensions Team in the first instance however this will become a requirement on appointment to the permanent position.
