A Good all-girls Secondary School based in North London, is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate PE Teacher to start in January.

This all-girls school located in North London, are looking for an engaging PE Teacher to join their team from January. Located on a beautiful site, the Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team provide a peaceful and secure environment for rich and stimulating learning experiences. They work very hard to provide each and every student with the support they require to reach and exceed their individual goals.

The school has great public transport links nearby with a railway station and tube station both only a 10-minute walk from the school.

PE Teacher

Here lies the opportunity to join not only a great school, but a very successful department. The PE Department aim to provide a challenging and exciting learning environment for all students. They aim to deliver a wide variety of activities that celebrates and encourages young people to do their best and to develop their skills and knowledge towards a philosophy of life long physical activity. The department are exceptionally supportive and work very closely together to ensure that all students are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities that take place through lunch breaks and after school. With varying levels of experience within the department, both experienced PE and Newly Qualified (NQT) PE Teachers are welcomed to apply for this post.

The successful candidate will be required to teach the following:

  • Teach KS3 - football, trampolining, basketball, netball, fitness, and handball
  • GCSE PE - supporting students in both Year 10 and Year 11

Role

You will also need to assist with extra-curricular activities that are run throughout the term, as well as attending fixtures/competitions after school

To be considered for this PE Teacher role you must have

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • PGCE in PE
