Outreach tutors required in the Croydon area.

Outreach tutors (core subject specialists) required urgently to work with disadvantaged children aged 4-16. Tuition usually takes place in an alternative education provision or within the home. We have both short and long term contracts available on a part-time, full-time and flexible working basis. Students referred to us have a diverse range of needs, including but not limited to: heightened anxiety levels, dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD, ODD, OCD, Tourettes, SEBD and SEMH.

You should have good working knowledge of the National Curriculum with:

• at least 2 year's teaching experience in the UK
• a UK recognised teaching qualification
• a DBS (ideally registered on the update service-if not you can obtain one through Remedy)
• a passion, drive and empathy to help students progress and overcome difficulties and barriers to learning
