Outreach Tutor day time -multiple London locations

Are you a qualified teacher experienced working with children with additional needs and/or Special Educational Needs? Working on behalf of London Local Authorities and schools, I have ongoing tuition for both Primary and secondary aged students. These are outreach roles covering core subjects for an immediate start.

These roles would take place either in the student's home, school or in alternative education provisions, with both short and long term work available.

The successful candidate will be working with students that require specialised educational support in line with their PEP or EHCP. We work with Looked After Children, with a range of SENs; therefore it is important that our tutors are experienced professionals within the field.

You should have good knowledge of the National Curriculum for the subjects your teach with:

  • at least 2 year's teaching experience in the UK
  • a UK recognised teaching qualification
  • a DBS registered on the update service (if not you can apply for a new DBS with Remedy)
  • an overwhelming passion to work with and help SEN students progress, engage and take away the barriers to learning

Please contact Dean Pomeroy at Remedy Tutors as soon as possible to register your interest for this role or for similar teaching and tutoring roles in and around London.
