Education and Training - Education and Training - Education and Training

Remedy Education are looking to appoint teachers and tutors to help young people achieve their academic goals to prepare for their school entrance exams all the way up to their first place at university. We cover all core subjects from primary school to university level and beyond!

It is essential that all applicants are educated to a minimum of 2:1 degree level or hold a UK recognised teaching qualification such as QTS. Tutors are only able to provide tuition in the subject in which they have a degree or teaching qualification in. If your degree was awarded by a non-UK university a NARIC conversion will be required. Current knowledge of the National Curriculum is required if you wish to tutor students for school entrance examinations.

The suitable candidate will have the following:

  • National Curriculum knowledge
  • 2 years teaching or tutoring experience in the UK
  • UK recognised teaching qualification i.e. QTS
  • Educated to a degree level
  • Clear and valid DBS

We are currently working with over 50 local authorities and virtual schools across the UK supporting students with supplementary provision and alternative provision requirements. The situations of the students we support varies and can include young offenders, teen parent or have medical needs.

We understand and adapt programmes to student's individual needs and situations, whether they are home-schooled, online learning, holiday revision and school entrance.

Remedy Education are currently working in partnership with a client delivering education to students with varied needs in a non-school setting.

This exciting new opportunity will see the suitable candidate working alongside students who may have been excluded multiple times, have medical needs, temporarily lacking a school place, be a teen parent, young offender, traveller, or out of permanent school-setting educational provision for another reason. This role will be rewarding, enabling and facilitating learning outside of the classroom which will allow creative delivery and tailored lesson planning to suit the needs of the individual.
