Job description

Our client, Medway Council is looking for a Senior Practitioner to join their Adolescent team.

To work with adolescents who are vulnerable and require support in relation to their personal safety and/or their family dynamics and relationships. You will be responsible for implementing a child in need, contextual safeguarding, or child protection plan, and supporting them to remain in their community, or where unavoidable, to be cared for by the local authority, exercising all statutory responsibilities for children in care. You will have the opportunity to work closely with other partners, including Youth Services, Early Help, Housing and with partners from the Police, Health, Education to provide a holistic service.

To be competent in all areas of the PCF at Social Worker level and The Knowledge and Skills Statement (KSS) for approved child and family practitioners.

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
