Remedy are looking for enthusiastic Outreach Maths Tutors to work with students on a 1:1 basis primarily online during the Covid Lockdown.

This exciting new opportunity will see the suitable candidate working alongside students who may have medical needs, temporarily lacking a school place, be a teen parent, young offender, traveller, or out of permanent school-setting educational provision for another reason. This is a rewarding role enabling and facilitating learning outside of the classroom which will allow creative delivery and tailored lesson planning to suit the needs of the individual.

Your responsibilities involve planning and executing 1:1 lessons, tracking students' progress and giving feedback and advice via reports. You will be expected to maintain appropriate records and be responsible for administrative work in the areas of planning, monitoring, and reviewing. You will need to have a strong understanding of the student's personal requirements and may be required to carry out initial assessments or diagnostics.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• UK recognised teaching qualification
• An ability to engage with difficult students
• Experience of 1:1 Teaching
• National Curriculum knowledge
• 2 years teaching or tutoring experience in the UK
