Job description

Qualified Social Worker, Children and Families, up to £35

If you are a Qualified Social Worker with a background working with Children in Need, we want to hear from you.

You will be building effective relationship with the Child in question, to ensure a ful\ly integrated and holistic approach.

Main duties include:

  • Deal with enquiries, consultations and referrals from professional/other agencies/members of the public, undertaking duty work and participating in the work of the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) on a rota basis. Working with partner agencies within the MASH to identify risks to vulnerable children, at the earliest possible stage and provide a safe and speedy triage to determine the most effective interventions
  • Carry out thorough and high quality assessments for children and young people and their families with the aim of clearly and promptly identifying levels of need, priority, risk and services required

Essential requirements:

  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • ASYE complete
  • Experience with Children in Need
