The Co-ordinator will be the first point of contact for the referrer, they answer and build the relationship on the phone and build rapport & use their skill of empathy to give advice where necessary - then writes the case on the system so will need to listen to information on the phone and type it down at the same time.

They will then discuss the details with the social worker.
