Male Teaching Assistant - Brent, North West London

Remedy Education are currently in need of a male, or very strong and physical female teaching assistant for one of our mainstream schools based in North West London.

This position is working with a very challenging SEN student who has difficult behaviour and in need of mentoring and assertive management.

This is a generous paying position with a daily rate varying between £80-95 per day depending on your experience and is a full-time position starting immediately.

A background of working with varying SEN students in the past is desirable - Autism, ADHD & Challenging behaviour being the most relevant.

Qualifications or experience in Makaton, PECS, Team Teach etc are extremely desirable and would certainly help fast-track you for this position, as would a degree - if an SEN or education-related degree that's even better!

You must have a valid and clean DBS dated within the last year or on the update service.
