Male Teaching Assistant - Harrow North West

Remedy Education are currently in need of a male, or very strong and physical female teaching assistant for one of our mainstream schools based in South East London. The school has great transport links from central London, as well as surrounding suburbs.

This position is working with a very challenging SEN student who has difficult behaviour and in need of mentoring and assertive management.

This is a generous paying position with a daily rate varying between £85-90 per day depending on your experience and is a full-time position starting immediately.

A background of working with varying SEN students in the past is desirable - Autism, ADHD & Challenging behaviour being the most relevant.

Qualifications or experience in Makaton, PECS, Team Teach etc are extremely desirable and would certainly help fast-track you for this position, as would a degree - if an SEN or education-related degree that's even better!

You must have a valid and clean DBS dated within the last year or on the update service.
