Male SEN Teaching Assistant | Autism & Behaviour Focus | Lambeth

A fantastic Primary School in Lambeth is looking for a Male SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Primary School ASAP. The SENCo has stressed that the appointed individual must have a good understanding of both Autism and possess effective behaviour management techniques. You will be working with a range of children across Year 3-6 providing in & out of class support.

Applying candidates must be aware that the Male focus is due to the possibility of attending Thursday swimming lessons with a Year 3 Class. This requires you to supervise the boys changing room.

  • Male SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Working across Year 3-6 (7-11 years old)
  • Supporting children with Autism (SEN) & Behavioural Difficulties - 1:1 & group basis
  • Fantastic support from the SENCo and Deputy Head Teacher
  • Full Time & Long-term position
  • ASAP start
  • £70 - £85 per day
  • Located in the London Borough of Lambeth

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Strong academic background required
  • Child related experience is essential
  • Strong understanding of the Primary curriculum & SEN
  • Must be an engaging, ambitious and caring individual
