Male SEN Teaching Assistant | September Start
Location: Barking, East London
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: £95-£120 per day (depending on experience)
We are seeking a caring, resilient and enthusiastic Male SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at a specialist SEN school catering for pupils with complex and layered needs, including Autism, SLD, SEMH and communication difficulties. You'll be supporting boys across all year groups and helping to create a positive, structured and nurturing environment where every pupil can thrive.
Male SEN Teaching Assistant | What You'll Do:
Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with ASD, ADHD, and sensory needs
Help deliver a bespoke curriculum based on communication, life skills and emotional regulation
Support pupils during lessons, breaktimes and transitions
Be a positive role model - helping students build confidence and independence
Collaborate with teachers, therapists and families to ensure consistent support
Male SEN Teaching Assistant | Who You Are:
Ideally experienced working with children or young people with SEN (training provided)
Calm, patient and able to manage challenging behaviours confidently
A team player who values inclusion, respect and consistency
