Special Needs Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant - Immediate Start
Greenwich, South East London
Long-term, Full-time
£80 -£90 per day

A SEN Secondary school in Greenwich is looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant you will be helping the class teacher maintain engagement during lessons and encourage positive social behaviour. Pupils in this class have autism (ASD) and associated needs such as ADHD, dyslexia and Asperger's. You may also be required to work 1:1 when additional support is needed.

  • £80-£90 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

  • Can interview/trial and start immediately
  • Opportunity to train as HLTA

The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant will have:

  • A resilient and patient attitude
  • SEN experience, especially with autism.
  • A valid DBS / police check
