Job description

Are you a Makaton Trained SEN Teaching Assistant? Do you live local to Lewisham, and looking for a long term role?

We are looking for SEN Teaching Assistant who is trained in Makaton and looking for a new role to start ASAP. We are working alongside a fantastic primary School based in Lewisham, who are looking for candidates who can hit the ground running and will receive training to support with behaviour management.

The role:

  • Support students using Makaton
  • Help to manage challenging behaviour
  • Follow behaviour and Individual support plans
  • Work closely with other SEN TA's and the Class Teacher

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of ASD
  • Makaton Trained
  • Good communication skills
  • Live local to Lewisham
