Makaton Trained Teaching Assistant

Your new company
You will be working at a mainstream primary school based in Lewisham until July 2021, 5 days per week, Monday-Friday.

You will be registered with Remedy Education and be represented by a consultant who will introduce you to partnership schools and new schools in your local area. We are seeing a great demand in the need for Teaching Assistants and in particular those who have the skills to support SEN students. Although this role is only until July 2021 there will be plenty of other opportunities presented to you throughout the year.

Your new role
You will be based in a primary school working with a young student in reception with special educational needs. You will be required to support inclusively int he classroom and work with the class teacher. You will also need to use your knowledge of MAKATON to promote communication.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be up to date with MAKATON training and have experience int he last 2 years working in either education or special educational needs.
