Job description

Remedy Education are currently working with a Good Primary school in the borough of Wandsworth, who are seeking a Year 5 Teacher to join them for an immediate start.

You will be teaching a mixed ability Year 5 class. The pupils in these classes are from a wide range of backgrounds

The school provides a nurturing environment, ensuring our children grow academically, emotionally, morally and spiritually.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Experience of working in a school environment
  • Knowledge of year 5 curriculum
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • A creative and flexible approach to teaching
  • Be a qualified and experienced teacher
  • Good communication skills with staff, children and parents
  • The ability to make a positive contribution to the school as a whole

You will:

  • Deliver high quality teaching across the curriculum
  • Develop high quality professional relationships with children and adults
  • Create a classroom learning environment that is happy, challenging and engaging
  • Work effectively with staff across the whole school community
  • Ensure good rates of progress for the children you teach
  • Engage with professional development opportunities to further improve your own teaching

Must have relevant experience and be qualified to teach in the UK.
