Remedy Recruitment Group are looking for an Income Officer for a Local Authority in West London.

Job Purpose

To maximise income received by households accommodated in all forms of temporary accommodation as required, including maximising Housing Benefit payments and Universal Credit claims, through advice, provisional assessments, completing new claims and renewals, and by securing supporting information from claimants.

To monitor and act on rent arrears accrued by occupants of temporary accommodation, maximising income collection and liaising with partners - internal and external and advocates accordingly.

To take a proactive approach in dealing with Former Tenants Arrears, ensuring that bad debts are regularly written off and that arrears continue to be chased after tenants have moved on.

To work with the Private Sector Leasing Officer to ensure key tasks are covered during times of absence.

You will need to be:

HCPC registered
