Higher Level Teaching Assistant

I am thrilled to be supporting a primary school in their search for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a long term role in Lambeth. The position is to start ASAP. This is an exciting and excellent chance for candidates to be involved with whole class teaching. We are searching for individuals who are confident in themselves in delivering learning and having a positive impact on all pupils.

You will be primarily covering release time for teachers or supporting teaching and learning in KS2

The school can offer;

  • enthusiastic and well-behaved pupils
  • excellent teaching staff and leadership to support you
  • a thriving, multicultural community
  • permanent opportunities in the future

We are looking for someone who will:

  • Have high expectations of pupil's achievement and behaviour.
  • Work well within a team.
  • Show a good sense of humour.
  • Be a positive role model for children.

The management of the headteacher, deputy headteacher and assistant headteachers is outstanding. They lead the school with dynamism and have developed the whole community. Behaviour is outstanding in classes and throughout the school, where there is an exciting climate for learning.
