Head of Year / English Teacher - Year 7 - Greenwich, South East London

Our amazing secondary school based in Greenwich are currently looking for a Head of Year / English Teacher to start in January 2020.

You will be expected to teacher English Lessons to year 7 students and to support the pupils throughout the academic year on both an individual and class basis.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience, and must hold QTS.

As the Head of Year, you will be working closely with Year 7 students, their parents and class teachers to monitor and pick up any issues surrounding attendance, behaviour and attainment levels. This school is looking for someone who understands how to work effectively with students, their parents and their teachers to build a strong partnership in which the young people can thrive and succeed at school. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will lead this cohort of students as they move through their secondary school years.
