Head of Service- Head of Adult Direct Care and

This role's duties include;

To manage risks in the service and to support the Director to ameliorate risks.
Ensure that all Direct Care and Services within CHASC Operations run effectively and efficiently.
To manage the budgets effectively to deliver high quality services which meet the needs of Adults and families and to ensure that pressures within the service and new requirements (Legislative and Regulatory) are communicated fully to the Director and the wider service.
To monitor the impact of services on outcomes
To lead and manage the Direct Care and Support, ensuring that appropriate strategies, policies and procedures are in place to ensure the effective delivery of services.
To have lead responsibility for ensuring that the council's legal responsibilities for safeguarding contained within the Care Act are complied with and effectively fulfilled.
To carry out additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by the Director.
