Head of Humanities - Enfield, North London - September 2022

A permanent position has arisen for a highly ambitious and driven Head of Humanities teacher to join this Enfield based secondary school, whose community values are at the forefront of its ethos.

The Role

The school are looking for a hard-working teacher who has a passion for teaching Humanities (History, Geography, Citizenship and Politics) together with the drive and professionalism to lead a department. In this role you will be overseeing Humanities teaching and learning across the school as well as teaching classes across KS3 and KS4. You will work closely with the humanities team and senior leadership within the school to ensure consistency in teaching and learning across all levels.

The Person

  • Experience teaching Humanities.
  • Ambition to develop into a leadership role.
  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) in relevant subject area.
