This SEN school caters for children with a wide range of learning difficulties, including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) and complex learning and needs.

Pupils are in smaller classes (between 6 and 8 per class) and learn to deal with the issues that they are referred for, as well as gaining access to a full and creative curriculum.

In this role as Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role you will have the responsibility of using the expertise of your SENCO mentor to your advantage and rapidly developing the skills that will help you thrive in your teacher training.

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant responsibility, will be given to you to work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to provide them with extra support in the curriculum.

The right Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant applicant will have a confident manner that will mean you can remain calm and professional even when presented with adverse situations and challenges. This Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant vacancy is designed for an ambitious Psychology Graduate who has previous experience working with SEN children either in a volunteer or paid role and at least received a 2:1 in your degree.
