Graduate SEN Learning Support Assistant - Person Specification

To be considered for this role you must be a conscientious and motivated Graduate SEN Learning Support Assistant who has previous experience working with SEN children either in a volunteer or paid role and an easy ability to communicate. Your portfolio will include a passionate and exuberant attitude, committed to the well-being of students and the enthusiasm to engage with them in a small group environment. Ideally, the school need a Graduate SEN Learning Support Assistant who is able to think on their feet and cope with a heavy workload. About the Graduate SEN Learning Support Assistant Role

As a Graduate SEN Learning Support Assistant your role will involve you assisting with general support throughout the school. You will be mentored by a SENCO and taking on 1:1 sessions and booster groups will give you exciting teaching responsibilities. In general, you will be supporting SEN pupils through the academic, social and personal elements of school life. As a Graduate SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will be assisting teachers throughout the school wherever you are needed and receiving support and guidance from the Special Educational Needs Coordinator.
