Job description

Our client, Gloucestershire County Council is looking for a Social Worker to join their children's Safeguarding team.

We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to work in our Stroud Safeguarding Team, where they will hold a caseload of children and provide an effective, evidence based intervention with consideration of timeliness and impact. The caseload for this team will be a mix of CIN, CP & CIC which includes some court work with a caseload of 18. We are committed to ensuring we have a flexible workforce who can manage their work and home life, in order to do this for this role we would consider home working in accordance with the 'Return to Office Plan'. The plan going forward is to embrace a hybrid model of working and this will include both working at home and office. There is expectation that the worker will attend the office on their allocated duty days, team days and 1:1 supervision together with flexible working where it meets the needs of the children and families. Gloucestershire County Council are committed to ensuring our agency Social Workers are supported to carry out their roles, so our expenses package for accommodation and/or mileage up to £150 is in place subject to terms & conditions.

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
