Job description

Our client, Gloucestershire Council is looking for a Service Manager to join their Children with disabilities team.

This role will cover both safeguarding (CIN, CP, CIC), short breaks fostering and early help provision for children and young people with a disability in Gloucestershire. It will include supporting the team managers to ensure work is undertaken to deliver quality services for children with disabilities. There will also be monitoring performance, oversight of audit actions, dip sampling, implementing improvement plans, ensuring regulatory requirements are met for the fostering service, chairing of joint funding panels, and monitoring SENDIST tribunal work.

Gloucestershire County Council are committed to ensuring our agency Social Workers are supported to carry out their roles, so our expenses package for accommodation and/or mileage up to £150 is in place subject to terms & conditions. This post is until the end of March 2022.

Essential requirements:
* Degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification
* Registration with Social Work England
* ASYE completed
